This weeks interview is Moshé Jenkins. On top of being a fantastic neighbor of mine, he is also a behavioral therapist, a psychotherapist, an educator and a dope @$$ DJ. He is a father of 3 and he also intentionally mentors youth in the greater Philadelphia area including running a stock market STEM club for students.

You can find him on Instagram @thespintherapist.

What gives you your sense of purpose in life?

My purpose and my reason are family, friends, business and helping others whether it be mentally or educationally to increase their quality of life.

How did you come to discover your purpose?

I come from very humble beginnings. I grew up RICH - in love and merit. I was able to learn the things that REALLY mattered in life because all we had was family and we were taught that family is everything. That is my foundation - Even my friends and business networks are a family. I also found additional purpose through my professional work as a mental health therapist and educator. I have literally watched lives change for the better in the helping relationships that I was fortunate enough to be involved in.

How do you connect your purpose to everyday life and work?

I am a father, mentor and support person everyday - no matter what title I hold. I love working as someone who can help others achieve. I am fortunate enough to have spent my career helping others. It's the best reward ever.

How do you remain vibrant, encouraged and energized?

I learned very early that if you are serious about helping others then you must take care of yourself. You cannot pour from an empty glass. I enjoy life in general. I don't need much and I always find a way to enjoy life and be grateful for accomplishments and my ability to be self sufficient. I also have a love for music which is my own personal therapy. I am also a professional DJ and it really does bring me an unexplainable feeling of joy when I am behind those decks.

What is one thing that you do everyday that is a necessity for your success?

Every day I drink water, make people smile, and speak about life and positivity to myself, my family and others. I believe in manifestation. I like to manifest positivity and prosperity.

Any other thoughts or word of encouragement!?

Always believe you CAN! And may your pain be champagne. PEACE. POWER!
