What is your purpose in life?

At a high-level, the way I currently understand my purpose is this: to use my unique experiences, insights, and gifts to expand the Kingdom of God. What does that look like for me specifically? Educating, teaching, coaching, and modeling what God has revealed to me as true discipleship. Right now he has me helping people untangle the messy, mostly subconscious narratives that are holding people back from experiencing the fruit of the Spirit, mainly love, joy, and peace.

Where does this come from and how did you discover it?

I became an expert in solving my own problems and then started sharing it with the world. I feel that God has gifted me with a unique perspective that blends modern psychology, Eastern wisdom traditions, current science, biology, and Christianity. It is at the intersection of these things that I feel I am being led to operate to help bring people into the Kingdom of their loving Creator.

How do you connect purpose to your everyday life and work?

We will be most fulfilled when we are adding value to the lives of others. I try to filter all of my actions through this truth.

How do you remain vibrant, encouraged and energized?

I could go off here, but I’ll keep it short: extreme cold/heat exposure, clean eating, restricted eating windows, hydration, deep/long sleep, weight training, HIIT workouts, deep meditation, supplements, walks, music, nature, action sports.

What is success?

At the most fundamental level, success to me means peace: peace of mind, and peace from mind. If peace is consistently present inside of my body, I know that everything else is being taken care of - my spiritual health, emotional health, mental health, relational health, vocational health, and physical health. In my mind, it's impossible to have true peace when any one of these areas are lacking; therefore, success is optimizing them to the best of my ability alongside the Spirit's power within me.

What is one thing that you do everyday that is a necessity for your success?

Reading non-fiction books about topics I’m genuinely interested in.

Any other thoughts or words of encouragement!?

All of us are here to overcome our own personal pain, struggles and fears and use it to impact other people. That is your purpose and that is the goal of your life. Its about pouring into other people and finding your purpose through that. Its being the best version of yourself so that you can impact others.

You are not your name. You are not your title. You are not your body. You are not your thoughts… You are the awareness behind your thoughts, an eternal spirit. The same thing that was breathed into the Adamah (earth) “Adam” in Genesis that gave the body life. Again, you are a spiritual being. But you are having a biological experience. We seem to forget this, and then get lost in the fear and survival mechanisms of the biology. Spend some time with this thought. Meditate on it. Get to know your true self as it is at it’s foundation: pure love and pure potential. The Father will meet you there.
