What gives you your sense of purpose in life?

I believe that it is our responsibility to put ourselves into a positive mindset each day and pour that into our communities. This responsibility gives me purpose. I have found that the best way for me to do that is to MOVE my body, and CONNECT to my spiritual practice. I also believe we all have unique God given gifts and I believe it's our responsibility to work at developing these gifts then use them to serve our fellow brother and sisters. Because this way of moving and connecting has benefited my life so much, I created a home workout program that invites others to benefit from it as well.

How did you come to discover your purpose?

I have always had two passions in life: Sports/Fitness and God. I dedicated the first part of my life to football and came to know Jesus Christ at age twelve. The second half of my life I discovered yoga. I was already a personal trainer and sort of stumbled into a yoga class looking for a different way to move my beat up body after years of football.. and maybe a cute girl invited me. But I fell in love with this new way of moving my body and knew I could find a way to merge these different worlds of fitness and yoga. You could say my work and purpose is merging these different worlds for others.

How do you connect your purpose to everyday life and work?

I was able to make it into a career. While I was a personal trainer, I started creating content and building community. Over time it became what is today TMAC fitness: 20 minutes. No Equipment. No excuses + each workout ends with a brief meditation/ prayer, allowing you to not only get in shape, but also get your MIND RIGHT.

How do you remain vibrant, encouraged and energized?

I work out and meditate first thing each morning before social media, work emails, etc. This is the best way I have found to put myself in a positive mindset each day.

What is one thing that you do everyday that is a necessity for your success?

I get my #mindright with movement and meditation.

Any other thoughts or words of encouragement!?

You can workout and eat Kale, but if your soul is not at peace, you will never know true wellness.

Also- Smile. Laugh. Love. It's good for you.
